Grits Suitable for home freezing
To maximize freshness put the shrimps straight into the freezer on arrival. Defrost when needed in a couple of minutes in the microwave.

For best results stovetop:
- Mix shrimps (drain liquid) with Cajun spice & 1 tbsp oil.
- Fry shrimps and bacon in 1 tbsp oil on high heat, 3 mins each side. Finish with squeeze of 1/2 a lemon.
- Heat grits in separate pan with 1/2 cup of water, whisk until smooth. 4 -5 mins, medium high heat. (Add your own cube butter for extra richness)
- Season veggies in tray, add tbsp of water, & drizzle olive oil. Microwave for 2-3 mins.
- Plate grits and top with veggies, shrimp and bacon. Finish with a squeeze of 1/4 lemon.
Cooking tip
- For best results when stovetop cooking, use a non-stick frying pan to prevent shrimps from sticking.
